The Sprida, is the result of the Physical Prototyping part of the Course "Interaction & Electronics". It was a project from my second year of my Bachelor, which was made together with three other TU Delft students.

 

The goal of the course was to use an RGB flash module in a creative way. We could program it in any way using Arduino (C++), and build any concept around it (beauty dish).  We were quite happy with the final result. An small counter showed you the intensity which you could adjust per colour (Red, Green and Blue). An infrared sensor was built in which picked up any external flash signals, which on its own triggered the Sprida beauty dish. Some colour combinations are shown below:

The Sprida did end up to work, however only on smaller subjects in darker environments. We tested our prototype on a wooden mannequin. The results can be seen below
